The weather has been so lovely lately, hasn’t it? Wonderful weather always inspires me to paint, and lately I have been spending a lot of time in the ‘design laboratory’ working on color selections for a few projects.  With the temperature so moderate, this is a great time to paint a new space. 

Here are a few of my latest favorite colors; we’ve recently incorporated most of these into our design projects and the shop.

Paint Pick #10: A Shade for the Ceiling

It’s easy to focus only on walls when you’re repainting, but don’t forget about your ceilings! These large spaces can really make a design statement of their own with a pop of color or texture.

One of my favorite colors for a ceiling is SW 7057 – Silver Strand. It also looks great on the back of open bookshelves or cabinets.
