There are no words for the amount of loss that our city has suffered.

Children were sitting in the rubble of washed-out homes, their toys waterlogged and lifeless.

Mothers are going to sleep every night, knowing the home they worked so hard to make is no longer there….

And families are beginning the slow, hard process of rebuilding the lives that were ripped away by this storm.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, we want to do everything we can to help our friends and neighbors get back on their feet.

That’s why Saturday, September 23rd, we’re hosting a FREE Hurricane Harvey Paint a Piece Happy Hour.

If you have a special piece of furniture…

One that you just don’t want to see let go…

Maybe it’s your mom’s or your grandmother’s…

And to lose it forever would be to lose a part of your home and your heart…

Then bring it to this FREE workshop and our staff will help you repaint it and make it look gorgeous again!

This workshop is intended for those that have been affected by the hurricane and are in need of help to replace their furniture.

Don’t worry, if you can afford to replace your piece of furniture, you can still come.

We just ask that you purchase a ticket.

They will be available at the door or you can snag one right here.

The proceeds will go to the incredible organizations that are helping to rebuild Houston.

We’re trusting you to follow the Honor System for this.

Here’s what you can expect from our free workshop:

• Drop off your piece on Friday so we can be sure it’s dry and ready to get a makeover
• Come in Saturday at 1:30 PM
• We’ll help you paint and makeover your piece. We will provide the paint free of charge
• A teacher will be there on hand to guide you step by step in your makeover (again free for this special event)
• You will leave with an incredible, gorgeous “new” piece that you can use for your home!.

Class is free, supplies are free, teacher time is free.

We are truly trying to help those that lost everything and make it easier for them to mend their lives.
