I love makeover projects, don’t you? No matter how many I see, I’m always delighted to see an old, outdated ugly piece of furniture transformed into a gorgeous designer makeover!
This one is truly special because I instantly thought of my mom when I spotted this piece. I’m hoping to surprise her with a dining room makeover and I loved this buffet for her!
I know what you’re thinking… “Ummm Amitha are you sure?”
Yes, I could see the potential, remember what I always say “Practice, practice, practice seeing the potential!” I was so excited by the size, the marble top, and the stunning details on this piece.
I knew we could do this project in about 2 hours, especially because our paint allows you to get started with NO sanding, stripping or priming. I love jumping right into the fun part, selecting my paint colors and painting!
Click below as I share the beautiful makeover of this project and the steps I used to achieve this gorgeous end result.
Here are the colors I used on this makeover:
Main Color – Stone Gray
Background – Noir black
Details – Chantilly White
Now here’s the tricky part – no it wasn’t painting this or even selecting the color, it will be convincing Mom to let me use this as the focal point of her new dining room design!
I know so many of you have been to our classes or tried our kits that were recently on HSN, leave a comment and let us know about your projects!
