One day while I was at my shop, Village Antiques, one of our customers, Veronica, was telling me about her latest creations with the Amitha Verma Chalk Finish Paint Collection.

If you love a good before & after like I do, then you will absolutely LOVE this amazing transformation. Seriously, I was speechless when she pulled out her iPhone to show me what she had been working on. But I’ll let you be the judge!

I love this piece because it’s still so practical. Organization is just as important as design. So what I love about this piece is that it still serves a great purpose. And I’m in awe of how she turned this up-cycled find into a lovely focal point in her bedroom along with this neat one-of-a-kind bust.

Anyone would have thought she hired a crazy expensive super talented faux painter to work on her pieces.

She also worked on this stunning chair (Wow – I love the gorgeous pattern she applied to the chair/fabric):

And last, check out this stunning armoire she did all on her own. This one was a real shocker. It truly looked like she paid a specialty faux painter a hefty price to create this stunning finish!

So how exactly did she pull it off?

Veronica simply followed our fail-proof 3-Step Transform System:

First she used Amitha Verma Transform to paint each of her pieces. She used one coat on all of these pieces except the last armoire. To achieve this incredible finish, she diluted the paint halfway with water.

Once the paint was dry, she went on to apply Amitha Verma Protect – which is what we use to seal in our newly painted finish.

After that was dry (approximately 20 minutes) she went back to add Amitha Verma Enhance to create the rich, antique, aged look.

It was so much fun to meet her and see all the success she is having with our products!
