From our HSN feature, to trade shows and travels, February has been a crazy month.

Needless to say, I haven’t made as much progress on my home projects as I would have liked to. But with Spring just around the corner, it couldn’t be a better time to jump back on the wagon and start an outdoor project.

And what better way to spruce up the outside of my home than with a gorgeous wall of vining roses?

Vining roses make for a dramatic backdrop and elegant covering for nearly any vertical structure like walls, arbors and fences. When they are controlled and “climb” in an orderly fashion, they can transform any boring fence or wall into a dramatic focal point.

I was inspired to kickstart this project this past weekend while in Florida. I was awe-struck at these lush, tall, linear floral and greenery landscaping:

But if you’re anything like me, you can have the most exciting ideas in the world, but they won’t get done until you make a commitment.

So here is my commitment over the next few weeks:

• Find out if these can grow in our climate
• Select the right flowers
• Determine what groundwork I need to do?
• Installing the project!

I’d like you to join me in making a commit of your own.

Together, let’s commit to starting and finishing one single project in the next 4 weeks. Four weeks is only a matter of a few weekends!
